Cosplay: Zelgadis Make-up

So, on Friday at Anime Expo 2008, ~xaynie, ~Nyx-Imp, Brett, ~Jru, and myself cosplayed as the primary 5 recurring characters from the Japanse anime series, Slayers.

I went as Zelgadis Graywords, and as one might imagine, the make up for that costume is quite a challenge.
So here you can see thre photos taken while I was "putting my face on" in the hotel room. It took hours.

This was my first attempt at doing any sort of non-standard make-up, so I'm actually very proud of the results.

I must say though, doing the transformation on my own face, and wearing it for hours... I have a whole new appreciation for why Zel hates his appearance. I still love the character and the way he looks, but I definitely have a whole new perspective on his self-image.
