Hey folks, this is a message to remind you that a little consideration goes a long way.
I'm not some teenager with a lot of free time, nor am I a professional artist who can whip up the quality level that you see on my DA in 5 minutes. I thought I'd covered this kind of behavior in the intro to my DA Etiquette rant [link] , but apparently some of you don't read my journals, so I'm tellng you in pictures.

I've been working mad crazy hours lately. I am exhausted. I am still behind at even going through my DA watch list. (I haven't even sat down to read the latest in the Fall of the Blue Spirit series yet. ) And the long hours working at a computer has my tendinitis (Yes, I realize it's spelled wrong in the comic. I don't care.) acting up by the end of my work days.

Tendinitis is this thing that sends horrible sharp pains through my hands when I move them in any way that my hand determines to be "wrong". The last time this happened, a doctor put me on anti-inflammatories and forbid me from drawing or excessive computer use. It's usually seen as a pre-cursor to Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

Needless to say, in order to avoid it becoming consistent enough for me to need drugs for it again, I'm cutting back on non-work computer-use and drawing.

Most of my watchers don't bug me much. Then there's the Schwäne Zwei readers (and a few others). I know SZ hasn't updated in months. I will continue eventually, but it'll happen when I feel like drawing it, otherwise it'll end up looking like crap. Bugging me en masse does not make me want to draw it. It has the opposite effect when there's so many of you.

I draw for fun and for free. You don't get to whine about my production speed or subject matter unless you are paying me. Capeshe?

Given my current hand conditions, when I draw it'll be whatever I feel like because I can't draw as much until my hands ease up.

Besides, bugging me about it over and over again is RUDE.
